Thus hotel needs to be torn down and rebuilt. The smell is horrible. It has to have mold and mildew all over the hotel. My room 235 was really bad. At 1:36am i was waken by the sound of water. I called the front desk and they advised the toliet upstairs had flooded and give them 3 minutes to get back to me. A hour later the water is still pouring down in the bathroom and into the hallway of the sink area. Finally we were moved to another room which also was smelly, cold and damp

Absolutely horrible check-in experience. I booked 2 rooms through hotels.com. The manager tells me I only have one room. He never asks if the other room may have a different last name (I booked both under mine). But I suggested he check and sure enough he finds the 2nd room (only after I showed him the booking confirmation). He then tells us the hotel is full and that the 2nd room was canceled. Showed us a hand-written note on a reservation print out. Cancelled bc the hotel randomly decided to cancel it. He knew we are platinum bonvoy guests - that’s why we chose a Marriott in the first place!! PLATINUM. And I don’t mean that ugly. But he sees this and doesn’t care about any status or loyalty to Marriott. It proceeds his next move: to stop helping us and helps 6 more guests telling us they booked directly. Doubtful!! He REPEATEDLY said it was a problem that we booked through a 3rd party. I have used hotels.com for years and never had an issue like this! When we questioned why he was giving rooms to others although ours was cancelled, he again stated 3rd party excuse and said “when I’m done helping all these other people, you and I will have a conversation.” Rude. Outcome: he miraculously found a room. 🙄 TV doesn’t work. Also, one of the guests complained their room smelled of cigarette smoke and he said “nothing I can do. In about an hour I can give you a deodorizing spray.” But hey, bright side - that man was helped before us.
