Very Good

We were welcomed into the property and directed to our room. Room was clean, tidy and spacious. We tried to use the shower but it wouldn't work properly temperature wise for us to be able to use it. We didn't have alot of time to report it at the time as we were running late for a family party did to traffic problems travelling up. The room appeared quiet until noisy residents came back and made alot of laughing and banging of doors.

Two day break
Had a good stay, room was ok but a bit grubby, hook broken on door, outside chairs were broken and very grubby as was the table. With a smelly full ashtray in the middle which we moved away but was put back still full the next day. We did not get the 10% loyalty discount as we booked on line, which was a bit odd. We have stayed there before. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Very disappointing check in with not very helpful staff. Beds need replacing and hotel is generally’tired’.
Very smooth and efficient check-in by a friendly young lady, comfortable room with excellent shower over the bath. Good restaurant for an evening Meal and very good selection on breakfast buffet. Comfortable sitting areas and good parking.
good location and parking , friendly and helpfull staff would recomend.

OK but plenty of room for improvement.
Room number 1. Adequate but no more. Very tired room.Tiny wall mounted TV. The bed has seen better days. The worst thing was the bathroom. Clearly designed for disabled visitors which is fine but the shower was cold despite being left to run for a while in the hope it might warm up leading to the whole bathroom floor becoming wet and slippy. Needs a new mixer valve and floor drainage improving.
Nice enough hotel, it seems. The room was very pokey and in the roof. Stains in the wall beside the bed (an old liquid spill) stain in the carpet, peeling furniture, Velux blinds didn’t shut properly so the light got in early morning. Terrible mattress and the shouting from the car park, which sounded like a domestic fight, that wasn’t dealt with by the hotel and went on until gone 2am made the stay a pretty poor one.

Would not go again
The breakfast was not very good, it was cold and the crockery was very dirty. I asked for some clean bowls and I the lady said they were clean but they had brown marks I wiped off with tissue on so that put my children off eating breakfast.
The family room was ok apart from one of the pull out beds it was tiny but luckily the night porter got another single mattress for us and we put that on the floor.
It was very very hot and hard to sleep as no air conditioning and the fans just blew the hot air around so I wouldn’t go there again.
Beautiful house when you walk around it just not the best to sleep in for a family.
