Our stay at Cactus Cove was one of my favorite hotel stays ever. The location is clean, quiet, and fun! The staff was very friendly and easy to work with. The attached bar/restaurant was BEAUTIFUL and the staff here were also friendly. The rooms are arranged around a central indoor atrium that has a mini putt putt grass, life-sized connect four game, Koi pond complete with food to feed the fish, and a lovely seating area. I truly have nothing negative to say about this hotel at all, I highly recommend it and will stay here again when I am in Amarillo.

It was extremely loud when I got there. A lot of people would not want to get off the road from a long day of driving and have to kept up by midget wrestling and drunk people who don’t reign in their kids. Definitely a hotel for rowdy people not normal quiet folks. Probably wouldn’t stay here again

We ended up leaving and not even trying to stay. The hotel is actually being renovated right now and that would’ve been nice to know before booking, but the worst part was that there is mold inside the rooms and all around the hotel. A very disgusting g and unhealthy environment especially for those who suffer from mold illness or are allergic to mold. A hotel should be able to provide their guest with a safe and sanitary place to sleep and stay. Very disappointed. Look somewhere else for a hotel, do not risk staying here.

Kids had a great time playing putt putt golf and swimming in the pool. Rooms are somewhat renovated. Door didn’t actually lock and could easily unlock it from the outside. Place has a weird vibe.
