Family Trip to Amsterdam
We wanted a hotel close to public transportation and reasonable in terms of price. We were absolutely delighted with this hotel's proximity to the train station. It was five minutes away from Amsterdam Central. The hotel was lovely. The room was nice. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was fantastic. There was also a Spar across the road in case you needed anything during your stay that the hotel couldn't provide.

Bad air but beautiful inside!
Was awaked by the strong smell of sewage-it sickened me and I requested another room. The one the showed me was smaller and the smell permeated that space too. I had to open the bathroom door to try and get some fresh air in the space because having the a/c air on only seemed to make it worse and opening the windows brought in bugs and the same smell. Sad, cause it’s a beautiful Hotel inside. Difficult to get to though through VERY narrow roads with pedestrians everywhere. No views except the surrounding buildings. Breathing sewage is bad for your health.

When checking-in I did not receive the correct change. I was charged 87 euros for property taxes. I paid 100 euros, but receive 3 as change. After inquiring on this matter, the hotels manager realized I was robbed. I ended up receiving 20 euros (one as compensation). Watch out for this. Besides this minor incident, the hotel is just fantastic !

Close to the station, so easy to access. - The hallways to the rooms are very dark with dim lighting. When you enter the room you have to insert the card into the slot to get electricity - it's impossible to see the slot if it's dark out and there's no light coming in through the windows.

Just returned from my stay here and I had the best time. The hotel was comfortable, clean and in a convenient location from getting around Amsterdam as it’s very close to the station. The staff were so helpful they really went the extra mile to make me feel welcome and catered for. I want to give a special thank you to Mohammed & the other members of the front desk team who helped me when my flight was cancelled and managed to accommodate me at the last moment.
