We stayed at Main Street Motel for 4 nights in August, it was clean, safe, quiet, staff was very friendly, they offered free coffee and water bottles, but our favorite part was that the parking was free - since the parking situation along the Main Street strip in Bar Harbor was hard to find, it was so convenient to just leave your car in the hotel lot and take a stroll past all the restaurants and bars to the harbor. So glad we didn't have to worry about parking, it was definitely worth it and saved us a lot of time and money!

The best thing about this property is the location. It is very walkable for shopping, dining, access to the village green and a bit longer walk to the pier. It is also relatively quiet for the location. However, the property itself is very basic and the front desk staff not very helpful with directions or recommendations.

Affordable, walking distance to town
This is a no-frills motel. It’s on the Main Street in Bar Harbor which makes it very convenient to walk the town. Staff was very nice, coffee served in the lobby area. Small fridge in the room. Everything was fine, nothing fancy.

Staff were great. Hotel is one of the cheaper options in town, but is a great location . On the edge of town, so easy to get in and out without hitting bar harbor traffic, but close enough to walk anywhere . Restaurants near by were great, namely salsa Verde grill. Nice wine shop is very close. The hotel is basic, clean, the AC worked well. You can park right in front of your room, and the lobby has complementary water, coffee , cereal, breakfast bars. There aren't really common areas or a pool, but it's a nice spot for exploring town and the park.

Great location. Walkable to all the bar harbor attractions. Room was very clean with comfortable beds and spacious rooms. The lobby always had fresh coffee every morning, variety of teas, and even hot chocolate. It was also stocked with oatmeal and a few snacks that were complimentary. Parking was easy as they had ample parking on both sides and we had no issues with finding a spot. Overall excellent stay within a short drive to Acadia or a short walk to all the bar harbor shops!

It is clean and well-located. Staff is friendly. Rooms are comfortable, with adequate space. The Main Street location places it on the edge but close to shops and cafes, and only a few blocks from the waterfront.
