Hi - we were expected at noon, arrived to find that the office door was closed. There was a sign which indicated staff could be contacted, and be on=site quickly. That was not the case. In our favour was the fact that it was off season, and our presence was noticed by workers nearby. They contacted the mgr. at a different number, and he was able to be there within 10 minutes of that call.
Josh is a wonderful young man, who seeks to make your experience at Riverdocks a good one.
Upon entering the deluxe studio room on the third floor, which was listed at a fairly high rate, given the off-season time, I was shocked to see that the unit was very narrow, and only had a DOUBLE bed, which was not in the listing.
We were there to celebrate a 50th birthday, and that kind of put a pall over the festivities. However, Josh came to the rescue, and unlocked the private bedroom for us as well, at no additional cost.
The kitchen is gorgeous, if not totally equipped. The one bathroom is best suited for children, or people of smaller stature. It was very quiet, likely because there were only two other couples there for the weekend. Views are very nice.
Beware - there is no elevator, and the steps up to the second and third level are open steel grate - I fear that someone will easy fall, or get their heel stuck in the grate itself.
