It was close to their golf course, however I booked a non-smoking room and was told there were none available at check-in. It makes no sense and is unprofessional as a hotel, to take the money and reservation for a room, then let someone else later, also book that room. I was also charged a resort fee after check out (that I would've assumed was included in the initial reservation payment) that I was unaware of until a notification of the payment on my phone walking to my car. I was then called and asked if I was still on property because my payment was declined. It was in fact not declined, I had just gotten the notification that it was charged but was asked to come back to the front desk to settle up. I was playing at their golf course and needed to be there for a tee time but walked back to settle the issue when I was called again and told it was their mistake and it did in fact go through. I was not however given an explanation of why I was charged an additional fee upon check out or why they sold the non-smoking room I initially booked. It was my first and last time at the resort because there are many better establishments on the Gulf Coast that I have stayed at and never had these type issues.

Booked this so our family could swim in their pool, and as many of times before we enjoy their lazy river, this time they did not allow my kids to visit pool area, because all of a sudden it’s for kids 7 and over

I was there for my Bday got there at 2 pm , girl wanted to charge me 20 extra for early check in , so we waited around til 3 pm . . . Went to lazy river for a few hours a bunch of kids running and jumping in and out in different areas until 630 pm ( not relaxing at all ) ! Not to mention there was trash everywhere, cups and pizza boxes , towels everywhere no staff until 6 pm when a pregnant girl came around a bit and picked up towels but he same cups sat there on the side of the water the whole time I was there. My Room neighbor had a dog who barked every time they left the room which continued for about 30 - 45 minutes and they were in and out all night. Most of all I was disappointed that I got nothing for my Bday :( very sad . .. .
