Hotel overall was nice, it was easy to check in and the room was clean. Negatives: There were never any carts available, and the breakfast area was not kept stocked and dining area was not kept clean.

For a 7 floor hotel with a household name like Hilton, this property was lacking in many ways. I won't take the time to list them all, but here are a few that stood out to me. This hotel has two [that's right, 2] luggage carts for the convenience of those of us that take a LOT of stuff on our trips and don't want to make 5 trips or more from the cold parking lot to our room. Thank goodness the desk clerk was kind enough to loan me a plastic kitchen cart. I had to ask them to have a maintenance person install a drain plug in our tub so my wife could take a bath. There were several places in our room where some really poor patchwork - type repairs had been made with bare nails sticking out, etc. It would be nice to have some fresh fruit at the breakfast bar....bananas, oranges, etc ...like most hotels include. Sorry for the bad news but our 3 day stay was rather frustrating.

From Mobile and I loved the fact it was nearthe hospital because my daughter had an important appt at UAB. They allowed us to check in early which was a HUGE blessing! Everyone was friendly! The room was clean, comfy, and very quiet! Will definitely stay again at her next appt!

We usually stay at Homewood suites in other areas . Birmingham is the best yet. Very affordable especially for weekend. It looked like some remodel if not it was best I have evet seen with homewood suites . I would not have any trouble using the really nice sofa rollout bed The staff were fun and they had the fire pit Going . Well decorated for Christmas Give them a try quite impressive

Best Hotel Stay
Service was far beyond any other hotel we have ever stayed at. Room was large and clean. Beds were comfortable, slept soundly. The General Manager was a wonderful and efficient manager. The total staff was extremely courteous and proficient. Loved the karaoke Wednesday evening. What a fantastic and thoughtful event. Thank you to all for a very enjoyable stay.
