Sehr gute Adresse mit Aussicht & gutem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Liegt sehr ruhig im hübschen historischen Wohnquartier. Massage sehr zu empfehlen.

Veraltete Anlage Wir fühlten uns wie im Trödlerladen. Da die Räume überstellt sind, wirken sie ungepflegt. Das Zimmer war sehr eng.

Incredible views of Breisach
This is a wonderful family-owned hotel with incredible views of the whole town of Breisach. It is within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Everyone working there were very nice and very accommodating to our lack of speaking German. Engelbert, the owner, was especially helpful as we were supposed to begin a river cruise from Breisach the morning we were checking out. There was an issue with the boat needing to dock in a different location. He called the cruise company for us and sorted out where we could meet them for a ride to the boat. He refused to call us a taxi and instead drove us to the drop-off location and stayed until he was sure we were taken care of. This exemplifies the excellent customer care that is received at the Kapuzinergarten hotel. Also, be sure to eat at the restaurant which has beautiful views and fantastic food.

Where to stay in Breisach? Here of course!
Hotel was nice, the owner is a very friendly and helpful man. The hotel is on top of the largest hill in Breisach and has some stunning views over the Rhine valley. It is close to the Christmas markets in Alsace, the primary reason for our visit. As it turns out, Breisach has its own market and activities as well. We had dinner at the hotel our first night there, the food was good but the service was very slow (although it is worth noting that they had a large party that seemed to slow every other table's service down).

Bad hotel
Calls itself hotel restaurant, the restaurant has to be open which it was not so therefore no bar open, on check in was told there would be bar service on the veranda but on going to veranda it was all locked up with no staff to be found. Room was supposed to have balcony but did not. Room was absolute rubbish for the price paid and they even charge for using visa. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone at half the price, book here and you will be sorry you did.
