It would have been perfect if the head server would have giving us a smile only ones . She just didn’t make us feel welcome . ( All other personal was always friendly.)Or if someone up one our arrival would have offered us some help with our luggage up the stairs to the second floor. Same at check out. I had to go thru the rooms to find a maid to pay my bill.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Beds were hard a as a rock. The rest of the room was great. Did not sleep well. Restaurant was outstanding, Supper and breakfast were very well done - high end.
Charming old hotel and nice room. But, unfortunately, the room was situated in the main building close to the road with a heavy traffic from 5 a.m. Next time we’ll ask for a room in the ‘guesthouse’ at the back.
Tasty dinner and breakfast taken in the garden. A good experience!
Convenient to the highway. Very picturesque location with beautiful views of the countryside. Pleasant staff. Decent breakfast. Not epic but good. Fun goats will talk to you if you talk back. Rooms and facility are clean. I was in no rush to leave.
This was one of those places where you immediately wish you could stay longer. We immediately recommended it to friends we know who travel through/ in the area, as it's a perfect break from the noise and stress of travelling; just a short hop from the highway. Our Comfort Double was huge, with big wide opening windows that were perfect in the August heat, after a shower in the bathroom which was small but well-equipped. The surrounding countryside and farm give amazing views, and the breakfast, if you're into German buffets, is a great example. We look forward to returning.
This hotel is outstanding. I have enjoyed my stay a lot. But what you really need to do when you are there is visit the restaurant, which is world class. The food looks like a piece of art, especially the salads. I was surprised to see they even had several vegan dishes. The environment in which the hotel is situated is also helping to create a great holiday feeling. Last but not least, the personnel is very friendly and it all feels very natural, not overdone. Kudos for whoever is running this place. One of the best hotels I have ever been (and I have seen a LOT of them).
A pleasant place in a lovely area. We didn't know anything about the place -- we just picked it because it was conveniently located on our route. But we are glad we did. We were somewhat surprised to find such an idyllic rural area near Bremen, just a few kilometres off the A1 autobahn. (We woke up to the sound of the sheep baa-ing in the field next door.)
On the way to Waken, I decided to visit Stuhr and Bremen as this is where my ancestors came from. This quiet hotel had an Old World look to it, was close to where I wanted to be, and was reasonably priced. It also has an excellent restaurant on site
Germany has always excelled in small family-run establishments and DreiMädelHaus is amongst the best I have stayed at, The room was excellent, had real high-speed WiFi nad was well equipped. The restaurant offered a range of meals from simple dishes to classic. The hotel is in a rural setting but only five minutes from the A1 motorway and is a quality alternative at a good price to nearby major towns
When arriving at the hotel around midnight from the ferry the place was completely closed. No lights, no answer to the doorbell, nothing. There were no "check in before -this time-" info available so check-in should have been open.
Lots of old world charm, excellent food (and beer!) and conveniently located to Bremen airport, about 20 minutes away. Perfect for our last night in Germany. Very friendly staff, very good wireless internet.
