I was traveling for a fencing tournament. The room was comfortable and more than adequate, and, critically, the breakfast was perfect for an athlete. The service was good and the staff were kind.

I arrived prior to the 3pm check in. My room just happened to be ready but I was told that there would be a $40 charge if I checked in before noon & a $20 charge if I checked in between noon and 2pm. Never ever have I heard of this anywhere!! My room was ready and I’m paying for it so why would there be an extra charge?!?! Room was dirty, ants in the bathroom, bed was horrible! The worst sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel!!! I do not recommend staying here and I never will again!!

Breakfast is awesome, cooked just right, not too oily, not too salty, pancake is yummy, complete breakfast. We feel safe in our stay, location served us well, along the highway but not noisy. The only thing, there’s a stain on my white linen blanket which of course will make you second guess the cleanliness of the sheet. The shampoo and conditioner has no fragrant smell but not a huge issue for us. We will use your hotel if we have to travel that way again.

Clean and comfy
This was our second stay - the first was about a year ago. The location is very easy to access, located right on the highway. Our room last night faced the highway and we were pleasantly surprised that there was no highway noise. This property is on the outskirts of town, so nothing really within walking distance, but perfect if you're just looking for a comfy and clean place to rest your head for the night. Hotel is very clean (no carpet in the rooms, which i love!) And seems either new or newly renovated. Beds are super comfy and rooms are spacious. Staff is all very friendly and this is becoming our go-to for Aggie games - only about 45mins from Kyle field!

Nice stay
The room was clean and neat. Cute origami towel done of a swan. Air conditioner was a bit loud but overall nice experience and excellent staff. Pool was very clean and had waterfall. We enjoyed a glass of wine poolside in the evening.

Everything about this property was great except for the highway noise on US 290. I didn’t realize that the hotel was very close to the highway, which our room faced. I probably could have requested a different room but we checked in and had to immediately leave for the event that we were attending. After we returned to the hotel the noise had subsided some what. But the truck and motorcycle noise continued well into the night! Everything else about the hotel was great! The room, breakfast, etc. were excellent and I would stay here again, but would definitely specify a room located away from the Highway!

Perfect service
We were in town for a baby shower and Best Western was the perfect stop for us. The rooms were spotless. The pool area was very nice and clean. The customer service at breakfast was top notch. The attendant Sherry W. was so attentive and friendly. She was clearing plates and trash for guests. She overheard me telling my son that the apple juice was out and in reality I didn’t know how to work the dispenser. She went and got my son a fresh cup of juice. The only complaint is the beds are sooooo hard, but that’s my opinion.
