No notepad and pen like other doubletree, no shower gel 2 days in row, had to leave note on back of guest notice, same for coffee and milk, not replenished and had to leave note on back of guest notice!

The poolside was very dirty, there was false eyelashes on the side of the pool, used plasters, the showers did not work and you had no where to put your stuff when you went unless you took money and paid for a locker - this was not noted anywhere. Our room was dirty and unclean, the beds were uncomfortable and I booked an accessible room and it was the furthest room from reception. The bed was too high for me to transfer safely and the shower chair looked like it has not been cleaned. The toilet roll was too far away from the toilet it felt unsafe. There was also a bottle of Ribena just next to the bed which had been left so did not give me faith that it had been cleaned very well

Friendly and Respectful Staffs Very Nice Place to Stay Clean and quiet Spacious Waiting area with Riestaurant you can order foods and can relax too in the lobby. With Swimming pool and Gym Light is not to bright which I really like Very Convenient Very Relaxing. Excellent. Will choose again to stay if we go again to Bristol in the future. Many Thanks! 😊

Sadly since our last family gathering little has changed. The hotel looks tired, as do the depleted and over worked staff. This is a poor reflection of the standards expected from a quality hotel in the Hilton empire

Check in was fine. Went in the pool. Almost half taken for one solo swimming lesson meaning no one could really swim, jacuzzi was warm at best not overly hot. Check out, well no one was there. Had to knock on the private door. Asked for my invoice to be printed. After 10mins of trying to sort the printer I gave up and left my email. It was sent pretty rapidly, I'll give them that.

Excellent Staff at the DoubleTree
We came to Bristol. for a wedding and needed somewhere convenient to stay, and the DoubleTree Hilton was just that. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, giving assistance with transport, directions, etc. The room was fine, however there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. Not sure if it was a plumbing issue or from the cleaning products they used. This was the only blight on the stay though.

Used as a pitstop overnight before setting off early the next day, greated and checked in. Warm cookie on arrival was a nice touch, poor basic standards in room, shampoo/conditioner bottles on the wall were empty, uncomfortable beds 4 guests but only 2 towels left in room. Went to swimming pool, changing rooms smelt, and just looked run down and dirty. Partner went in steam room and left after a few seconds as smelt of sewage.

We received a very warm welcome. The check in process took quite a long time and we could not understand everything the staff member was saying or asking. But he was very friendly. The rooms were nice and spacious and comfortable. We will stay again.
