The Hotel is a remodeled shopping mall so I had to walk about a mile to get from the front desk to my room and half the stores on the ground floor are vacant so it looks tacky.

On the city side of the hotel it was too noisy with delivery trucks backing in at all hours- u could hear toilets being flushed from other rooms- the fridge in 2025 was too noisy- plus drip tray had to be emptied each day

Location was great. Great spacious room overlooking the marina. Staff across all areas were good and very responsive. Club area was a good option with a wide food selection for both breakfast and early evening drinks. However property is looking “very tired”.

Absolutely outstanding experience. Highest recommendation for this hotel. My parents were absolutely delighted with everything here. Excellent location on Esplanade and Marina.Lovely cafes and restaurants nearby. Fabulous pool area. To be honest, we found Cairns city area not very nice, quite shabby, so was lovely to stay at a lovely hotel right on the esplanade...we just stayed in that area and kept out of the city area.
