The staff is incredible. They go above and beyond to make you happy. The food options at each restaurant is amazing, and each meal is absolutely delicious- just as if you are home. The resort and the rooms physically seem a bit tired. I’m not sure exactly how old it is but I know it is one of the older resorts of the Excellence chain. I do hope they make some renovation improvements.

If you are a foodie, this is heaven. They have many distinct and wonderful restaurants that have amazing food and excellent service. All of the people I encountered that were working there were cheerful polite and very helpful. this is a place I want to go back to this coming year.

We recently stayed for ten days at this resort, which was nothing short of amazing. From the moment e arrived, the attention to detail and quality of service stood out. The cleanliness of the resort was impeccable. Every area, from the rooms to the common areas, was spotless and well-maintained. The staff truly made the experience unforgettable. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure we had the best possible time. Their professionalism and warmth shone through whether it was the conceirge, housekeeping or restaurant staff. The food the restaurants offered was outstanding. Each offered its distinct cuisine and every meal was perfectly prepared. The flavours were rich and options plentiful. Overall the resort exceeded our expectations in every way. It's the perfect destination for those seeking luxury, relaxation and top-notch service.

We went there for our honeymoon and we literally have nothing negative to say. The staff is so amazing and hard working. Shout out to Angelo in activities, and Pedro, Eddy, Rodrigo, and Ricardo doing bartending. The place is always clean, and the food doesn’t disappoint. We will definitely be back!!!

Excellence was a very beautiful place! it was very relaxing and the staff from the arrival to check in to the staff waiting on us and the staff at the spa and the staff in the restaurants were absolutely amazing and the driver louis was great! Everyone made us feel welcome except for the tall lady in the main floor gift shop next to the coffee shop she was following me making me feel like a criminal, I had just recently spent around $300 if not more American dollars and had plan to purchase more upon my leave, Since she had made us feel we decided not to, other than we look forward to returning back to this place made our special anniversary very nice one that we will always remember thank you for letting us celebrate our 28yrs with Excellence!!

From start to finish the staff at Excellence were there to assist us in anyway they could. We loved our swim up suite and the fact that we could have our drink order and food order brought right to our deck when sitting out by the pool. The room was always thoroughly cleaned and the minibar stocked daily with drinks and treats. It was nice to have the Aroma coffee shop, which also had premade sandwiches, fruit, fruit juices, yogurt parfaits, or delicious pastries if you missed breakfast. 24 hour room service, and the Oceanside/ poolside (any pool) snack and drink orders brought to your chair were amazing. The restaurants were very good which made it hard to decide where to eat. This resort is worth the price for a true all-inclusive getaway. Thanks Excellence for making this a memorable Christmas vacation for our family.

The food overall was great, especially Chez Isabel and Basmati restaurants. The fish dishes was hit or miss, but the filet mignon was always very good. The mushroom crepes at Chez Isabel are outstanding.

We booked the swim-up suites and they are a must. This is one of the nicest resorts I have stayed at in Cancun. Service was incredible and the food and amenities were great. ROOMS - Spacious and tidy - AC was great - the beds were comfortable and the bedding was also soft; we upgraded pillows to latex pillows with the pillow menu! - swim-up rooms are a must; we faced the main pool and it was close to the main plaza etc so it was loud at night during events but didn’t bother us. POOLS - pools were super clean ans there were so many options - only downside was only one pool was heated BEACH - gorgeous beach with umbrellas (hut things) and beds and we never had an issue getting beach loungers - beach was cleaned regularly - hammocks available AMENITIES AND RESTOS - restaurants were awesome! We loved Chez Isabelle and Spice, and of course Agave! - buffet was good too, the usual, but great variety. Only open for the breakfast, I think - gym was so good! It had a ton of equipment… even included a trap bar and a smith machine? - we loved bingo daily, coco loco, and played pickleball! All was included. - service was so great… we loved every minute. Thank you for making our vacation incredible.

Fantastic vacation spot. The best all inclusive hotel we have stayed at. The food was excellent - not just great for an all inclusive, but actually great. And the service is amazing everywhere. Good beach (not like Turks or Cayman but very nice), nicely designed pools. If you want an adults only resort that is very chill but isn’t all couples (we were parents and a 19 year old) this is an ideal spot.
