The hotel is in disrepair. General cleanliness like clean windows and doors is poor. The property out side is unkept. Many non residents hanging around parking lot. That said, the staff was friendly and attentive. They have an older unmaintained property to deal with.

Overall, positive experience. About 3.5 overall. BW Saluki Inn was mostly what I needed for a one night stay. And what I expected -- convenient location, quiet, secure, generally well-kept. It was a tad more expensive on this weekend than I would have expected (i.e., a bit less of a value for this particular property in the town in which it is located). Staff was very pleasant. The one thing that stood out as less than positive was the front parking area, which seemed oddly laid out and not very convenient. But that is relatively small in the scheme of things. negative would be that It was (Simple touch: it would be helpful to have a sign on upstairs floors pointing to the elevator, since it is not visible from the hallway.)

It's pretty good
The room was nice and I have no complaints about it except it didn't smell real good. The worst thing was that the elevator kept breaking down. So we had to use the stairs. It would have been a nice gesture for the hotel clerk to assist two older women lugging suitcases up the stairs, but he did not. The breakfast was good.
