The indoor hot spring pools were beautiful. The outside pools need a lot of work. The hallways were filthy and the carpets and bathtubs especially need attention.

Screaming kids in the quiet reflection pool all day and night, security did nothing. Why these kids weren’t in school is beyond me. Some slob drinking beer in hot tub offering unsolicited life advice. Our room stunk of dog and a lovely view of a brick wall. This place is way over priced snd need to remove “resort” from the title

First time here. Enjoyed our super-relaxing getaway time. Very beautiful setting. Friendly staff. Aging (potentially charming) property. Pricey considering no housekeeping or room service and average amenities. Quaint tourist village is lovely, but also pricey. Hotsprings pools and scenic setting are the primary attractions.

The hotel is old, and that's part of the charm. We were saddened to see the news coverage of the filling in of the off-site springs, hence the low eco rating. We were not informed upon booking, nor upon check in, that the window is completely blocked outside, therefor no view at all.

The breakfast was truly overpriced. The information about hotel services was misleading. The staff at facial services was not accommodating. The room was quite noisy because of some industrial intermittency close by, probably a boiler. Fortunately, it was just one night at the place.

Outdoor pools with different temperatures were good. They locked the door close to the pools during the busy weekend. It made our group to make a longer walk to access the pools. The rooms we were in were smaller than expected and furniture looked worn out but were quiet. Most of the ropes were xxxxlarge!! We are mostly 5’2’’. The cleaning staffs were friendly and prompt to our requests. Overall, it was good but definitely has room to improve in facility and service.
