There was pretty significant road noise until after 11 PM and lots of kids just being kids. Since I was close to the elevator, it wasn’t as quiet as I would have liked it to have been. But, staff was friendly and accommodating, and I would stay there again. I was happy the bar was open for a couple hours & breakfast was ready bright and early.

There were bedbugs. I took pictures and reported it to housekeeping. At checkout I told the front desk and ask if there was an incident report or anything I needed to fill out and was told no, that they had called pest control and would contact me after they left which I did receive a call letting me know that there were no bedbugs. I really didn’t expect different. If they hide the fact they have bedbugs I wonder if they even called pest control?

The Wingate is a great option if you have a car. Easy on/off highway and easy to get to USC campus. It was clean and you could easily get to Target or Walmart.

The location was good and property was clean. What I didn’t like is that I had to request housekeeping to clean my room or get towels. Which I was never told so I didn’t know I needed to do that and came back after a long day out to an unmade room and no towels. I travel a lot and this is the first time this happened to me. I would think twice before booking with them again.
