The amenities and property were beautiful and well maintained. Location is excellent. Food is OK, and one of the days the options were very limited. But for the park the convenience makes it worth it.

We were first given a room in the 800 building where there was construction outside our window. I went back to the counter and asked for another room. They gave us a room in the 700 building with a beautiful view. The resort was beautiful, clean literally an oasis in the desert. I love the pool with a warm spring water and the Ranger guided hike.

The Ranch is indeed a beautiful oasis which has a little of everything that you could need. We stayed 5 nights in February and had a great time! I would recommend making reservations for dinner if you want a certain place/time to eat as it gets busy.

Probably once ideal, this resort needs lots of tender loving care. Upon arrival, we were given a room that already had people occupying it. (We discovered this after carrying bags up a light of stairs, and had to drive bag for another room). That room was next to the ice machine and front door that was broken and banged shut whenever anyone came or left the building. Rooms were 'tired' - out of body lotion and no cups of any sort for the bathroom. Food was underwhelming for first night's dinner; breakfast buffet was very limited. Do not recommend unless no other choices.
