I have stayed here about 14 times in the past year. It was excellent until we got to this visit. The room carpet wasnt clean, linen was not changed, clean towels only given once for a four night stay. Plugs didn’t worked. No mirror at desk. Etc. I don’t want room 171 again.

Property was old and musty, like maybe the carpet had flooded at some point. Not sure if it was just our room, but it felt very humid and damp. Turning on the air conditioning unit seemed to make it worse. The staff was all great and so was the breakfast. So really unfortunate that the property hasn’t been kept up.

It's a tired old hotel that's not in the best of shape. There were what looked like insect droppings in the mattress of one of the beds, so we both slept in the other bed since we were concerned they might be bedbugs. We ended up leaving after one night and moving to a different hotel. Both the night and day front desk staff were friendly.

The room was very large and we had one of the best breakfasts ever. They have a big lounge area for eating and it's really lovely. I had the large indoor pool to myself, a nice option if you like to get in a bit of exercise as it was so horribly hot and humid, I couldn't go out walking that day.

Breakfast options were great. Probably the best continental breakfast that I’ve had at similar type hotels. Bed and pillows were not great. Quite uncomfortable. Linens and room were clean, no issues with bugs or unclean items. Didn’t get to the pool but looked at it and it seemed adequate. Conveniently located with shops around.
