Quiet, out of the way
If you are looking for quiet and out of the way, this hotel is for you. This is NOT very walkable to the heart of the city. Definitely a cab ride back at night. This was geared more towards business or maybe an event. There were two great pubs within walking distance though.

Great hotel for the price. Nice clean room, good breakfast and perfect location for the Bord Gais theatre. Only issue was a lift being out of order resulting in a long, pretty frustrating wait for.a lift on our morning of checkout. We ended up walking, which wasn't ideal as the other guest I was with has mobility problems.

I selected the hotel because of its pool. Unfortunately it is a health club open to members, so was packed all the time and I was unable to use it. Also, the area only has a couple of pubs that are completely packed with tech workers. The restaurants nearby are packed with theatre goers, so difficult to get a table before 8.
