AVOID! AVOID! - MISLEADING AD, POOR ACCOMMODATION
AVOID AVOID! This is NOT a hotel nor 4 star accommodation as listed.
POOR ACCOMMODATION: It is really a guest house with bedrooms only. A thin single blanket was provided for a double bed booked (I was so cold I had to wear a coat in middle of night shivering with no reception open to request an extra blanket), old furniture, the mini-bar fridge was warm, no water/kettle/tea/coffee facility in room you expect with even 3star rooms, & some ad photos are misleading e.g. no balcony with the room.
POOR FACILITIES: No parking, NO lifts to upper floors (I carried my suitcase 2 floors up stairs), no restaurant in the property - you are given coupons for breakfast to take to a cafe (which itself has limited options) in next street, not part of the guest house. Poor wifi in rooms. There is no 24hr reception - the guest house owner's office is only available 10am-10pm - so e.g. no support as above when blanket needed, no-one available when checking out before 10am (you are told to leave key card in room) & OWNER CHARGES 30Euro PENALTY if you arrive to check-in after 10pm (this info was only given in an email AFTER booking in small print German). Owner speaks very little English, was very rude & made you feel unwelcome to the point it was first time I ever wanted to leave & find an alternative place on arrival, but had no choice given booking was pre-paid & having arrived from airport at 11pm tired. WORST accommodation I have been in 27yrs of travel. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO AVOID.
