We checked into our executive suit and the bed was not made or room cleaned. Housekeeping supervisor came to room and we had to switch rooms. We moved down one floor. The room was clean but no face cloths or hand towel in second bathroom. When we went to make up pull out sofa bed there were no sheets, comforter or pillows for it. Houskeeping had to bring them up. The shower drain plug would not stay up while having a shower, so tub filled with water. The free breakfast was decent though.

It was mostly an alright stay but there was a lot of long black hair on the bathroom floor that kept sticking to my socks and dirt swept into the corners and more dirt and small wrappers in the closet track. Hallway outside of our room needed to be vacuumed for a couple days. The lady who checked us in didn’t tell us where our room was and we got lost for a bit. Other than that it was fine.

I understand that the front desk was busy but better directions to our room would have helped besides saying” elevators that way” when we didn’t even need the elevator then walked away. iIt was our first time there. He was polite enough but 2 extra seconds would have been a big help.

The front counter staff were excellent! Very knowledgeable, welcoming and engaging. They portrayed appreciation for our business, especially a young lady by the name of Tanila (sp?). She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and quickly and humourously addressed any of our concerns.

This hotel changed our room reservation from 2 Queen beds to 1 and a couch next to the elevator so we got to enjoy drunk people going up and down the elevator and running in the hall. Front desk girl not helpful at all.

They should drop the "Royal" from it's name. And its certainly not Executive. Average hotel in a good location. None of the front desk even said hello or welcome. The breakfast was okay. The long corridors were quite grubby and the room was not up to a good standard of cleanliness. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly. Stayed 3 nights and won't bother staying again. One positive: The housekeeping staff were lovely and very helpful.
