This is the 2nd time we stayed at Marriot Courtyard El Cajon and it was great... again. The whole hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. The property is modern and beautifully decorated. The bar/restaurant is excellent and the staff is super-friendly and attentive. The location is great with lots of dining options nearby. We'll definitely book again when we're in the area.

Wedding weekend stay
We originally booked a suite, but it was not ready when we arrived so to accommodate us, they gave us two separate rooms and comped one of them for the two nights. It worked out fine. Mom and dad were in a room and our sons were in the other room. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding. Marriott Courtyard is our go to hotel when we’re in East County San Diego

I liked this property; the staff and location are great. The only thing I would change is having to pay for parking. This should be included with the stay, and this hotel is not a MOTEL but a luxury property.
