Gorgeous, picturesque, lovely owners
Run by a lovely young family, this place is a veritable retreat. We got a balcony room over the river and it was worth it. You can see the covered bridge, stars, and the church overlooking the property. The beds are extremely comfortable. The breakfast is nice. The entire place is very cute, you can also book sauna for a reasonable fee as long as you tell them in advance. Out of all the places I've been this month, they have the best coffee. They have a children's area in the breakfast/dining room, this was very helpful for our kid.

Host was very helpful with where to go for sightseeing however there is no Ice machine and no ice bucket to chill a bottle of wine. Was giving Ice in a bowl. There is a onsite bar but it is not staffed. I was told not park in a space because the midsize SUV was too big, yet they let another guess with a bigger vehicle park in the same space.

Excellent stay, friendly owners and top notch location next to the river. Free on site parking (about 5 or 6 spaces). Also ate at the restaurant, which was also very good.

A Wonderful Evening in the Black Forest
What a wonderful surprise in the heart of the Black Forest. Our room was clean and relatvely large. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The Asian cuisine in the restaurant was well-prepared. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked. The setting by a river and coverd bridge was idyllic. Highly recommended.

An absolute 5 stars plus! The place is run by a young, polite and kind couple, its absolute prestine clean, the breakfast has a wide range of choice, the room was ample for a single person (I had a single room with balcony) its tranquile, and lovely! I had an early morning depart, so my last breakfast was packed up the previous night and was waiting foe me in the restaruant’s fridge. Only one little let down was the coffee maxhine in the lounge, but everuthing else was top class!

This hotel is immaculate and very inviting! The staff are very friendly and generous! Throughout our whole trip to Germany this one was my favorite! The views of the Black Forest are breath taking and the breakfast they serve is delicious! We arrived here towards the end of our trip and had quite a bit of dirty clothes. They allowed us to use their washer for a small fee and also provided us a clothes hanger to take back to our room. I love Forbach and hopeful to return again and definitely stay here! I can't recommend this enough!

Great service from the host. Is a nicely decorated house with little surprises at all corners! Nice view from the house by the river . A great option for some peaceful and relaxing moment with husband. Serve good breakfast . Would definitely come back for more hiking options closeby.

A fantastic stay. The owners were extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. My kids loved the air hockey and the doughnuts at breakfast :) I would recommend a stay here if your in the area.

The staff were brilliant, super helpful. Hotel and room were fantastic. Lots of games and books to peruse. Balcony overlooking river was beautiful. Room had fan which was great for the hot weather. Would definitely come again.
