Front desk was very kind and helpful. We had an issue for our room and he was able to help us fix it. The property was very clean and so was our room. The only downside was the elevator not working and we had to carry all our luggages to the 4th floor. Overall, our stay was very pleasing, especially they had great breakfast served!

The mattress and pillows were lumpy and hard as rocks. No fluffy comforter or blankets. No mini fridge. The mirror doors (closet) came off and almost fell on top of me. The humidity in the room was asthma inducing. We brought it to the attention of the front desk and were offered no solution. The elevator is falling apart and downstairs bathrooms are disgusting…. We asked for our money back and check out.

It started when we checked in, and they gave us a room right across from the elevator, which I specifically requested NOT to get. That was changed. Then, I used the text message option to request clean towels and trash bins emptied on the second day. When I returned nothing had been done. I was told I could empty the trash myself and leave it outside my door for pick up. Also, my room key didn't work. The next morning I requested clean towels and pick up of the wet ones. I did get the towels, but the stack of dirty ones remained in the bathroom. I don't think my requests were unreasonable, so that's pretty ridiculous. No Kleenex in the room until the last day, when I asked if they had any. Lotion in the shower instead of conditioner. Could be cleaner, for sure. The person who checked us in was very friendly, as was the other night person. The staff are friendly, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. We used to always stay at this hotel when visiting Fort Lauderdale, but this time was the last.

This hotel is in serious need of upgrades. It was "ok" for a 1 night stay but definitely does not rate the 10 out of 10 they have for reviews. My guess is alot of fake reviews. The elevator is old. The walls have scuffs, paint chips you name it. The floor had stuff on it. Clear the vaccuum job was bad. Bed is hard. Fan in bathroom very loud. The air conditioning unit was very noisy. Definitely needs a makeover bad. The front desk man Chrstian was very nice. I wont stay there again.

The rooom that included a King bed and sleeper sofa was clean and relatively attractive. Only problem was that the sleeper sofa did not have an immediate blanket available upon check-in. Backup had to be washed and dryed. More importantly, there wasn’t enough pillows for use with the sleeper sofa. Staff associate had to take additional pillows from another guest room, not yet occupied, which had two pillows for each room and bed.

Location is great, shopping and numerous restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was great compared to other hotels. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some roaches in the room and numerous problems with key card. You'll find the elevator seems to take ages, much quicker to climb the stairs.
