“I had a wonderful stay at La Quinta Inn Plantation SW 6th Street! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the location was perfect for my needs. But what really stood out was the exceptional staff. During my stay, I misplaced my MacBook, and the team was incredibly helpful and honest, holding it safely until I could retrieve it. Their quick response and professionalism really made a lasting impression. Huge thanks to the staff who were there—you truly went above and beyond! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.”

We came back at 12:30am from a show. The front door was not locked as stated on the door and there was a possible homeless individual asleep on the couch by the front door. For a non smoking hotel the entire 2nd floor smelled like Marijuana which also made our room smell bad. The room was not wiped down. I literally wrote in the dust on the desk and dresser.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The first time was good. It was clean and the pool area was okay. This last time I was disappointed. There was roaches; very small and medium size on the counter and in the bathroom. The sheets was stained. It was as if someone had just stayed in that room. It wasn’t as clean as it should. The bathroom light was left on. They changed the towels on day 3 but didn’t make up the bed. There was a guy that slept on the couch for about 3 days as you walked in the hotel. Seemed as if he slept there when certain staffs were there. I didn’t realized they allowed pets. There was too much dogs there. I didn’t enjoyed my stay this time.

The staff was excellent, the bedroom clean and comfy, the breakfast really good options, parking awesome, close to a mall with more great food options. Close to the stadium. Easy to drive around (I did by Sunpass). Nice convenience shop inhouse. They accept delivered orders like doordash. Too dark at night but felt safe bc its corporate businesses, nice homes and similar hotels around. Disappointed with pool as there was vegetation in and out of pool. A lamp case was laying broken for two days before it was picked up. Someone drop a sweater in the parking lot and it layed there the 3 days i was there. My bathroom was for disabled people and it was as if a DIY job had just been finished in the shower. There was tile paste smeared all over and though it was clean it looked dirty. No screens on the super large windows? Otherwise we went to aventura mall, stadium, nearby mall, miami zoo, the art deco buildings and lion country safari all within 15 to 1 hour from the hotel. Hotel is about 15 min from airport. Saved lots and my 2 girls felt safe. I wish they would keep their premises clean outside. I would have given a perfect review.

Room amenities need improvement. TV, phone, iron didn't work. Elevator was dirty and smelly. Rooms are really close so heard everything others spoke from other rooms. Room smelled like it was mop with dirty a dirty mop. Was not thrilled.

Most of the staff were very polite and friendly. That said, one of the staff scolded me when I asked if there were plates for the food that was still out on the counter. It was 10 minutes after breakfast was over but the reaction from the staff member was very aggressive. At checkout time the maid service knocked on my door at 10:55 asking me to leave. I asked for a few more minutes to finish gathering my items. They knocked again at 11:01 and asked me to leave again. I said I needed one more minute to zip my bag and the maid service said, you just asked me for a few minutes. Yes, I can admit to being 1-10 minutes over the "schedule" for both of these interactions but the response from the staff was very confrontational to what was and very polite request from a paying guest. I didn't feel very welcomed here. I have stayed at this specific Hotel three times in the past and had similar experiences. I'm just going to pick the hotel next door and see if they appreciate their customers and make them feel welcome. I'm sure the guy gets asked for plates every day 10 times a day after he's already put everything up so I know he wasn't directly upset with me but maybe get a sign that says if you ask for a plate I will yell at you. Also if you're wanting me to check out at 11:00 or else... You might want to have a sign that says be ready to check out at 10:55 cuz our staff doesn't play. Just saying. All the people at the front desk were great
