The room was nice although smelled a little off. The staff at the front desk the day we left was awful. As we went to check out and get ready for our shuttle we were told that the shuttle broke down. There was no care or concern from the staff about how this might impact us. I was travelling with my elderly parents, my Mom using a wheelchair, so getting to the cruise port with the shuttle was a huge reason we chose this hotel. I have never seen staff so rude in all my years of travelling. Luckily we were able to get an Uber that would accommodate my Mom, but at an expense we weren’t expecting.

The hotel only has cleaning service on week days and does “light house keeping” throughout the week meaning that they make the bed but don’t change the sheets or clean any counters/surface areas. When asked for more towels, I was told to bring towels down and exchange them. I thought this reflected a lack of service. The continental breakfast is not good and the building is a little beat up - needs some more attention to fix things up.

This property was very quiet and relaxing. It was in close proximity to the Hard Rock Casino, so I was able to walk there within a short time. I enjoyed the breakfast because it had many different options. I also enjoyed the Happy Hour at night because of the appetizers and other free amenities. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and professional. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience. I will definitely go back to this property for future visits.
