The property had cockroaches and used the term “palmetto bugs”, when we asked to change rooms because we had a huge one on our wall in our room. The next room we were placed in seemed cleaner but we couldn’t be a peace because of the experience. The towels smelled like stale laundry like they haven’t been dried and got sour. For close to $500 for a weekend trip I was very disappointed in pricing and overall cleanliness of the hotel.

When we first entered the room it had a strong mildew smell. Also, you advertise pet friendly and then want $35 more for having a pet. So, it costs $285 for one night!

Unfortunately, I accidentally reserved a handicap accessible room, that was my mistake. it was fine at first when we got there, the A/C was freezing cold & the beds/pillows were comfortable. the next morning we noticed that there was mold in the shower area. We notified the front desk & they were accommodated us another room, however these beds/pillows weren’t as comfortable & the A/C didn’t cool the room as well as the first room.

It was quiet away from the traffic of Main Street but close enough to easily drive to any shop, museum, or restaurant. The breakfast was great. The staff were very accommodating. One critique: the bed was too soft and a bit worn. I had two rough nights of sleep.
