Top Quality Stay in a central location.
Great place to stay! Most importantly because the Staff were approachable, friendly and helpful, very good at putting you at ease. Cleanliness of our room was high and the appearance of the dining area and foyer again very clean and stylish. Due to location and popularity, could be considered noisy in the communal areas. On occasion noise could be heard in the room but overall no major impact on our stay. Many Breakfast options and food was to a high standard. Staff were professional and efficient. Breakfast buffet was excellent, everyone appeared to be catered for. Enjoyed our stay!

There is an air vent outside in the grass courtyard, which hums almost all night long. It sounded like a swarm of bees in our room the whole night, meaning I could hardly sleep and I lay awake most of the time.The hotel is very convenient for the train station, which is why we chose it, but if I had to stay in Glasgow again, I would stay somewhere else. Another minor inconvenience was not having any coffee pods for the coffee machine or milk and the caramel wafers went out of date 3 weeks ago.

The check in was appalling . I had booked two rooms , one with a city view . I checked in at 3 pm and one room was ready ,the other at 3.10 . I returned to reception at 3.15 and it was not ready . I returned again at 3.35 and was given 2 keys . I went to my room and neither worked . I had ask the cleaner twice to let me in the room . Finally i went to reception and they reconfigured the keys . At the same time i asked why no city view and the receptionist said there was no city view on my booking . An absolute hassle which i disappointed me immensely. At no point was given an offer of anything eg upgrade as a result of the shocking check in .
