When we arrived we were informed the hotel we made a reservation in, Cobertizo Palacio de Santa Inez, closed. They were accommodating in providing a nice room at the Rosa d’Oro a different property owned by the same company. It was a nice room but half the size of the room we reserved.
They are using this hotel to bring you to a 3 star hotel called Rosa D'Oro hotel. They are a frauding people like they did with me. I paid for a 4 star hotel and they gave us a 3 star hotel.
Beautiful facility. Great view from our bedroom and outside patio of the Alhambra. Easy access and location to old town and many of its restaurants and shops. Owners very cordial and accommodating. We enjoyed ourselves.

2 adults, 2kids, wonderful host BUT hotels.com?
The lady and her husband who run this place are wonderful. She was such a delight and we felt like we were staying in their home with a large private quarter . We had a 2BR with den and 1 bath. The building is in the Alabacin so it is of course old. Unfortunately there were 3 issues -- 1. They don't answer phone because they don't speak English (but we spoke Spanish, still couldn't get through on phone and it was hard to find and we needed to come late), 2. There is a night club on the block and sound resonated through bricks until 5am; 3. The lady said she hadn't paid by hotels.com. She didn't ask us to pay (we had already paid hotels.com for non-refundable 2 nights, even though we couldn't get there in time for check-in and only stayed 1 night), but we told her we would contact hotels.com. If night club is closed and you can find the hotel, this place is great for 2 adults, 2 kids. No wifi to our knowledge

Traffic horrible in Granada
Just a hotel nothing special.
Beautiful hideaway at the base of the Alhambra. The ambiance is that of a private residence. Friendly, helpful staff. Wifi but no TV, and elevator was broken. We had trouble finding it, but the receptionist at the Museum of the Inquisition directed us.
We stayed three nights in this elegant old house in the Albaicin district, near Plaza Nueva and below (and with views of) the Alhambra. Its hard to find at first: the entrance is down an alleyway with minimal signage. There is no parking, and no vehicular access to the front door. Our room was simple but comfortable; it had a ceiling fan but no AC. This is an upmarket B&B with heaps of character and style, not a full-service hotel. The owners (who live on the premises) and staff were charming and very helpful. There is a garden with plunge pool. Buffet breakfast was simple and fresh but did not include hot food and was not included in the room rate. Recommended, provided you are looking for this type of place.
This hotel was situated right in the heart of Granada near lots of great bars and restaurants.
It looks upon the Alhambra.
Unable to access by car but taxi rank is nearby
We stayed in the loft apartment which is technically in an adjacent building but looks out over the same courtyard and you join the others at breakfast there. We had 2 bedrooms, one bath with basic small shower, and a great view of Alhambra with 2 balconies. Allejandro made great recommendations & reservations for us. All those working there were very accommodating & charming.

Air conditioning
The room did not have adequate air conditioning and it made it uncomfortable during our stay.
Loved the history and charm of this unique hotel. We were really glad to have the experience. It was conveniently located, staff was wonderful, and it had everything we needed.
Fantastic hotel very close to the Alhambra and many other attractions in Granada. Alejandro and Cecilia were amazing. We traveled with 3 little kids (5y, 2y and 6m) and they were very extremely accommodating. The hotel building is historic and very unique. It was a wonderful experience.
Carmen Cobertizo was made wonderful by its restoration, location to everything in the old city and especially the staff: Alejandro and Raoul. They were the best concierges you could have.
The concierge Raul, was very helpful, informative and charming. He arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport at the crack of dawn and served us breakfast early. The inn is a lovely example of a late medieval casa senorial with its two tiered inner courtyard and garden. The room was very quiet. The breakfast was a delicious Spanish offering of jamon serrano, queso manchego, fruit, home made cakes and many other items. Would highly recommend a stay here especially if one is looking for a flavour of ancient times and a gracious, restful setting. One can walk to many major points of interest from the inn.
Fantastic hotel, great location for the Alhambra and the Albaycin. Very atmospheric we loved it.
The staff are very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
See if you can reserve the Alhambra room, with great views.
Breakfast in the courtyard is a real treat.
We'll be back very soon.
A very good location, near to The Arabic and Jewish quarters, almost in the shadow of the Alhambra Palace. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good value and a wide choice. Very relaxed atmosphere and the hotel itself is an historic building.
We recently stayed here, and had a very very relaxing time. The hotel is really close to La'Alhambra, very quiet and provides delicious breakfast. The staff are very discreet without ignoring you, and provide a very uniquely styled hotel which is very clean and cannot be faulted.
One of the 2 best places amongst the many we stayed at in 2014. Friendly staff helpful and knowledgeable organized everything for us. A nice, small, well decorated, quiet place that feels like home. Within walking distance of everything to be seen in Granada
Was expecting more. The rooms are in ok conditions, not the luxury we were led to expect. It is overall nice but too expensive considering what's offered. Very good service though.
