The room smelled. There was a lot dog hair in the bathtub and on the bathroom floor. The beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good.

I was going to give three stars until I tried to take a shower in the morning. When I arrived the night before the room I was given smelled so horribly mildewy there was no way I could sleep in it. So asked for a different room and I was given one. However, it still have that mildew smell but not quite as bad as the first room. Like I said, I was going to give three stars until I tried to take a shower at 9:30 this morning, there was no hot water. I skipped the breakfast which ends at 9:30 in order to take a shower while everybody else was eating. That was my mistake because I turned the shower on and I let it run for about 4 minutes and I got zero hot water. It was barely lukewarm. So needless to say the the upgrade of room from the smelling to the not so smelly really didn't matter because without hot shower I could care less about ever going there again. Unfortunately that's too bad. I do not like to leave bad reviews.

Average hotel near Hershey Park
We stayed for 2 nights when we visited Hershey Park. Hotel is convenient, about a 20 minute drive to the Park. Beds are comfy and the room was pretty clean, though it smelled like pets- the hotel is pet friendly which I hadn’t noticed when I booked. Water pressure in the shower was horrendous. Hallway carpeting is dingy. Breakfast was so-so, we skipped it our last morning as we didn’t love it the previous day. It does have watery eggs and sausage if that’s your jam and not enough breakfast seating room for this size hotel.

A lot of places to shop or dine nearby. Large pool on the property. Connecting rooms available. We were able to check in 3 hours early because our rooms were ready. Very friendly staff!

The first room had a strong bad odor, they allowed us to change immediately and the 2nd was better but not perfect. There were fruit flies in the bathroom and either the tub or the water coming out were yellow.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Baymont by Wyndham Hotel in Harrisburg, PA, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff provided excellent service, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive. My room was spotless, and the common areas were well-maintained, providing a welcoming and hygienic environment throughout my visit. The quality of the breakfast each morning was another highlight. The variety and freshness of the offerings made for a great start to the day. It was clear that the hotel takes pride in providing a satisfying and delicious breakfast experience. The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient, especially for those planning a trip to Hershey Park. It’s just a short drive away, making it an ideal choice for families and theme park enthusiasts. This property was good for the price. They keep it very clean even though it’s and older place. I was there for 3 nights and they were cleaning the entire place everyday. Beds were comfortable and room was very spacious. Very close to all Hershey attractions.

Rooms were ok. But rest of hotel needs updating. Breakfast was pre frozen eggs and sausage poorly prepared. Muffins were prepaked like from grocery store. Kitchen staff loomed ove you watcjing your every move. Coffee was from a dispensing machine and undrinkable.
