It is a very interesting property. The complex consists of several buildings with different room types. The staff is super friendly and helpful.The only advice I can give is : When checking in make sure there no events scheduled while you are there.We were there three days and had no access to the restaurant (which were looking forward to ) because of private parties!

We had such a lovely and relaxing stay at the Vandiver Inn. We stayed in the Rodgers and it was such a nice room that allowed for much needed relaxation on the porch. The staff is very welcoming and the owner was happy to give us some very good restaurant recommendations! We’re already making plans to come back again! We unfortunately had to check out early due to an emergency but the staff was super understanding and accommodating. We were so sad to prematurely end our stay but we will absolutely be back soon! This was one of the best BnBs I have stayed in.

Charming Inn in Charming Town
Everything about the Vandiver Inn is charming, especially our friendly, helpful innkeeper Brie! My husband and I stayed in the historic, well-appointed Vandiver Mansion. Our room was absolutely beautiful and cozy; the bed very comfortable; and breakfast the next day was excellent. We will definitely be back!

A Gem of an Inn
We were very pleased with our decision to stay at the Vandiver Inn as the halfway mark on a recent trip to New York. The town of Havre de Grace is charming and convenient to the interstate. Our host greeted us warmly and offered us a glass of wine as a welcome. We chatted with the owner, whose attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the establishment and how it is operated. We will definitely return!

I loved the character of the property, the gardens were nice, our room set up was nice, there was a queen bed and then a twin in a separate area so it was basically like having 2 rooms. Price was great and breakfast delicious. Perfect little stay in Havre de Grace.

We stayed in the Kent bldg, Vandiver room. Loved the room, large and spacious and comfortable. It was very hot during our visit and the A/C was wonderful and kept us comfortable. The bathroom was large with a jet tub / shower combo. The breakfasts were excellent every morning, and the staff friendly and helpful at all times. Highly recommend a visit!
