Karah at the front desk was very helpful and friendly, and even gave me an apple from a bowl kept at the front desk. The renovated rooms were stellar.

Clean but no elevators. We were in the second floor and the room was modern and clean. Nice breakfast the next day in restaurant and then we zip lined ! Nice property!

Octoberfest
I refuse to rate poorly but feel being honest in written review is important. Traffic was horrible on the way up and we were not going to arrive till after 10pm. While driving we called and on hold waiting for attendant making about 10 calls and 45 min before finally reaching someone. Then we asked about a fire and was informed the fire pit is a community fire pit and we pay for the wood and others can pitch in. We asked about s'mores and were informed the kit was $50. This is not my first time here. Grounds are great and we enjoyed the location

Beautiful state park, quiet, trees were lovely. Great front desk staff. Room was significantly over priced, not the value I was looking for. Great updated room. Did not include breakfast. No elevator for luggage. Won't stay here again but was local to Helen.
