Really Great Stay!
The entire team at the Hyatt Regency Dulles was welcoming. If I had a question or need, they helped. The lobby area had a private events area, a bistro and bar, and of course the front desk. Also on the Lobby level was the gym and pool area. The gym was pretty decently equipped, the pool was a lap pool, and also in the pool areal was a jacuzzi. All of the areas were spotless. Our room was quite spacious for the price point. It was well laid out and very clean. There was a microwave, small fridge and small table for the kitchen, a couch with a coffee table and end table. The bed was queen size and the bathroom had a standup shower, vanity with washbowl, and toilet. The only real "closet" was in this area. As for the negatives, there was only one, and it wasn't a big deal, although it appears to be for some. The elevators there are in need of some tender loving care. The inside is spotless, like the hotel. It's operation is a wee bit sketchy, with some noises and sometimes inconsistent operation. If you don't want to each at the bistro, just know that there doesn't appear to be anything in walking distance of the hotel. On average, the closest places were about 5 minutes away. All in all, a great visit and will absolutely stay there again if the need arises.

Nice hotel but the staff were all foreigners, hard to understand and not very nice. The front desk lady was very rude, any questions we asked she was very short and nasty in her reply. The breakfast staff could barely understand any questions and kept repeating the question back to people and then they’d return and ask again and still did the wrong thing. I asked for a to-go box and she came back and asked if I wanted a box I said yes and pointed to a to-go box being carried by a flight attendant and the woman came back with a small plastic container for condiments not a box for food. Finally after more time she came back with a small plastic container. The rooms are ok, carpet is dingy, bathroom around the toilet and shower was dusty. Hotel is dated and not as nice as it should be. Extended airport parking is nice and shuttle driver got us to the airport on time although he drove a bit erratic, making really sharp turns going fast and then slamming the brakes. Overall wasn’t terrible but lots of improvements would help.

No Valet and No Bell services as you would expect in a Hyatt Regency. They charge for parking in the middle of nowhere and no services around the area. You will need a car as it’s difficult to get an Uber there.

Poor value for the money. Television didn't work properly and the thermostat would only warm to 70 degrees. Elevators were slow Positive side - staff seemed nice. quick check in and nice view.

Highly recommended
We had a very enjoyable short stay at the Hyatt Regency Dulles airport hotel. The complimentary Hyatt hotel shuttle bus picked us up (along with other guests) at arrivals, conveniently located at curb 2G at IAD. It’s just a short journey to the hotel located in a quiet area so no disturbances. We had a King room which appeared spotless and plenty large enough for us both. The bathroom area also houses the closet & in room safe. The toilet & shower area were separated by a door for privacy which was fine albeit a bit tight on space compared to other Hyatt Regency hotels that we’ve stayed in but this is a minor criticism. With a shower room this small, once you’ve run the hot water for a bit & step out - hey presto, you’ve got yourself a sauna! After a good nights rest, we made it down for the buffet breakfast which was excellent. Our server, Ana was very pleasant and looked after us extremely well. Incidentally, when I was doing my research comparing room rates, I found it cheaper to prepay for the buffet breakfast rather than turn up as a ‘walk-in’ due to the prevailing exchange rate for GBP. Also I didn’t see any other dining options nearby. It’s so nice though to see smoked salmon as one of the cold choices along with all of the other usual offerings. They were also able to accommodate my request for an omelette which was cooked fresh at no extra charge. Our overall impression of this hotel was excellent together with wonderful caring staff who were very gracious.

The overall stay was fine. Beware your $50 holding fee will be taken for no reason. I always leave my room just about the way I found it. This is dissatisfying and will not stay here again.
