My wife and I had stayed in this hotel about 7 years ago and it was quite nice (4*) but upon my solo return, the place had gotten a bit run down and the rates were the highest of all 4 hotels I stayed at during my business trip. Certainly not worth the price. There was only one place to eat (in the hotel) Mickey's Pub, I must admit, the place seemed a little "seedy" at first and definitely run down, but the atmosphere and staff were great :) the Steak Sandwich was incredibly delicious so a definite A for that pub. But the hotel room as mentioned was old and worn and not up to the standards of the other 3 I'd stayed in for this trip. As noted my previous comments on the Days Inn in Cranbrook BC, I should have known better, because it's owned by Wyndham Hotels, who seemingly just like to run lower end hotels. See Ramada Inn Campbell River BC, the dirtiest hotel I've ever booked, to the point that I left and found another place to stay at because the former made me itch the minute I walked into the room. The fridge "percolated" all night very loudly, lucky I travel with ear plugs.

Our family stayed here last weekend for 2 nights and we had a very pleasant stay! The property is dated but kept clean and tidy. Both front desk clerks were courteous and the housekeeping staff were very friendly and accommodating. My kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub for hours. All this plus the affordable price and convenient location, we would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in a loft style room, complete with bedroom upstairs and a living room/bathroom downstairs. Loved it! Perfect for a couple or a family with one or two children (couch had a pullout double bed.. which was extremely comfortable by the way!) Lots of different pillows to choose from. Firm, soft, etc. King size bed was also comfy. Internet was easy to connect to, televisions were simple to use. Room was clean. Loved that their toiletries are Dove brand. In-house restaurants on the property made food choices simple. No continental breakfast, but that's typical. We left a note on our door to housekeeping, asking for more coffee, and they delivered :) Swam in their pool and used the hottub. Basic and great. Only complaint was that it was complicated to find - hotel needs more signage! Would definitely come back.

Rooms were very clean and well kept. Loooong wait to check in. Only 2 clerks, one on phone the whole time and crazy fussy people taking up time in front of me. Stood for over half an hour in line waiting to get checked in for our rooms. Facilities were beautiful and close to lots of amenities and easy to find.
