This is a very interesting property. We stayed in one of the bungalows though there are other types of rooms available. It is an old property, but recently refurbished/renovated. The room was small but well appointed and had a nice bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower. There is a nice full service outdoor bar adjacent to the kitchen area. A very nice breakfast is included with the reservation. There is free WiFi which is pretty good. The biggest downside to Winslow’s is the satellite tv. There were relatively few channels and fewer still that could be counted on to work on a regular basis. Granted we were not in Key West to hang out in the room and watch tv, but it was during the NCAA playoffs. ESPN worked during the game but cable news channels mostly did not. We would still recommend this property. It was clean, the rooms were comfortable and the grounds were lovely. It is a short walk to Duvall Street, the Hemingway House and many restaurants.

A wonderful property, with super staff, Great beds and AC! It is hard to brag enough on the Ambience of the rooms and cottages! The rustling of the Palm trees, shading your room or patio! Excellent!

Loved the small, quaint grounds with its brick paths and white lights at night in the trees. Staff was always very friendly and extremely helpful. Even when i put my do not disturb tag on the door, i received a text to confirm I did not want service that day and asked if there was anything I needed. Breakfast was delicious!

We loved our stay at Winslows. As described, there are multiple bungalows around the property. Our group had rented 4 rooms for our stay. Some of them had a musty odor, but this did not bother us, you can expect that in Florida. The bar and food options were great. Staff was especially friendly. Pool area is small but again not what we were there for. Overall we had a great time and would stay there again

The room that we were given (Room 61) was extremely tiny, and had no natural light (no windows). It also did not have anywhere at all to hang clothes, no closet, or even hooks other than one in the bathroom that had two robes on it. The room air conditioner was set on high when we arrived which I soon realized was to hide the overall musty smell. As our 5 day vacation went on, it became more uncomfortable, as it is increasing hard to come back after a long day out to a dark, musty and tiny room. Definitely not the experience we thought we would have at Winslow's Bungalows. It looked so nice in the ads and the landscaping was very nice. But is it even legal to rent a room without windows? I think they should at least have it posted it in the ad for these rooms that they are tiny and windowless. Then people know what they are getting. We came home with our luggage filled with musty clothes, including the winter coats we wore from home, as well as the inside of our luggage. I would not recommend staying here unless you are assured that you will not be assigned this room or any other like this as there may be more than one! We loved Key West though and can't wait to return, but will stay elsewhere for sure. I am very disappointed and feel deceived by Winslow's Bungalows.

Historic Key West - close to the action
Wonderful historic hotel. If you're looking for modern cookie-cutter, this isn't for you. But if you love quaint, historic locations close to the center of things, this is your cup of tea. Recent and ongoing renovations mean quality appointments, and the staff go out of their way - including on check-in when he walked me through the rain to my room and offered to carry our bags in.
