Nice hotel with some maintenance issues
The hotel was nicely done and the bed was really comfortable. The employees were friendly. The only thing is there was mildew in the shower where the wall material meets the floor. The wall in my room had a gouge that could have been easily repaired. It appears that they are not keeping up with maintenance. Regarding eco friendly, the plates and cups were styrofoam..a definite no no. Charge a few cents more and have paper goods.

Not sure why this place gets such bad reviews. This hotel is by far one of the best LaQuintas Ive ever stayed at. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Will stay again in the future.

The check in process was excellent and the young lady at the front desk was wonderful. The problems started after check in. I was traveling with two small dogs who have traveled all around the US. I realize I would be in a "pet Room" which is fine. The room smelled like disinfectant and I assumed it was just cleaned, but after it wore off in the middle of the night the room smelled really bad. It was late so I took a cloth with water and walked around the room. The carpet was filthy. In the morning I noticed a panel on the side of the bad was partially off of the wall. I did inform the front desk lady upon check out/

I arrived after 11:00 PM. My room smelled of urine upon first entry and was so humid that everything felt damp. I had 3 rooms reserved on the 6th floor and each room was VERY humid. Of note, there was a dehumidifier outside of the elevator on our floor, so I’m sure management was aware. I would NOT recommend this prop.

This place advertises as the newest hotel in Lake City. If so, they really need help with cleaning and maintenance staff. The room was dirty, parking lot had trash everywhere and questionable people hanging around at most times. It could be really nice if maintained properly, but lacks upkeep in many ways. Will not stay again and question whether we'll choose LaQuinta for other stays after this experience.
