The outside of the building looks like a typical brick building. Once inside the lighting is very dim. The floor in the lobby is chipped up and cracked in front of the elevator which is a tripping hazard. There is no elevator certificate displayed in elevator so not sure if they are up to code for use. They say on the website new renovation done but all they did was paint over the old paint. You can tell looking there is so much paint build up from over the years. They didn't bother to correct any dry wall or wood issues before painting over them and the show right through. The room I stayed in the floor had several dips in it, the bathroom is very small. if you are a bit of a husky person this is not for you. The view from the room was ok mainly you will see a parking lot and a building but if you looked past that then you would see the trees. I was woken up several times due to drunk people from wedding parties screaming and making noises in the hall. The beds were comfortable. The hotel is located close to several places to dine in within a walking distance there is a small Park across the street. The place is ok, I believe it was a bit too expensive for the 2 night stay.

The Queensbury Hotel is a beautiful weekend getaway. We had an absolutely wonderful time and highly recommend both onsite restaurants and jazz in the lobby. Kudos to a hospitality management team that’s doing it right. We’ll be back!

Sure! Here’s the translation: Review of the hotel: This hotel offers a less than expected experience. The hotel is old, and some of the rooms are small and uncomfortable, with very low toilets and weak water pressure. Although the staff at the front desk and in service were very nice and friendly, the service itself was disappointing. When we returned to the hotel in the afternoon, no one cleaned our room, despite our requests. We were told that our rooms were a low priority, which added to the feeling of disappointment. Overall, the hospitality experience did not meet my expectations.

Great location and friendly staff. It’s an older hotel that needs some updating. But the beds were comfortable. Bathroom was pretty small. I would recommend this hotel.

Toilet in room are so low to the ground seemed to be for a child not adults. No vanities in bathroom room in room. Dining was limited and no guests amenities to merit the price of room ie complimentary breakfast buffet etc.,microwave refrigerator or a table to eat in your rooms no bell hop to help with bags coming or going. No on-site coffeehouse or coffee cart. No event coordinator or concierge staff not very accomidating sent us walking for blocks knowing that nothing was open claiming to have a spa without offering spa services like massage. Maps of local sites and events would have been helpful. Discounts to winery etc. Hotel sponsored events showing local vendors etc. When going back I wouldn't stay here again when other hotels are less and have the amenities necessary for a pleasurable experience.
