Staff was really friendly, they greeted us with macarones and a Christmas upon check-in. View from the room on 11th floor was lovely. Great area to walk and shop nearby as it is next to the Battersea mall.

The hotel is in a great location with lots of things to do, great shopping and great restaurants around. The hotel itself is very basic. Rooms are very small. It feels very “Vegas” type hotel.

Nice hotel, easy to access and handy location for the power station. Only slight downer was that we requested an ice bucket and glasses to be in the room when we arrived, wasn’t there and then had to wait for it to be brought which ruined the surprise somewhat.

Stunning hotel with amazing rooftop pool and jacuzzi. Was lovely to watch the view of the city at nighttime from the pool. Breakfast that was included was great too, even if the coffee was a little slow to come out, but that was my only complaint for the full stay 😊

I won’t be returning
Expensive for cheapest room in a smart hotel but I was hopeful of an excellent experience. Shower room Toiletries were lovely as was the softness of water. However, service was lacklustre, reception were friendly at check-in but I had to ask twice for the empty shower room body lotion to be refilled, the Joia restaurant particularly unwelcoming despite us being hotel guests, we were told to wait for others to leave a bar that wasn’t full, the receptionist essentially looked tired at 11:15pm, as if we were asking too much of her to enter the bar. London, our hotel rooftop restaurant with a bar and a few guests, and we had to queue, so we left, as did a couple of ladies who arrived just after us, who were also told to wait. The breakfast selection was average, my Eggs Royale was cold and staff forgot one of the choices ordered. We asked for alternative to coffee machine coffee, it’s an expensive hotel, and were happy to receive 2 cafetière, one cafetière was dirty on the lid and I think the coffee came from the machine as it tasted weak and watery. I didn’t bother asking the staff to change anything by then. Our experience felt like we were people passing through, no warmth in service, very impersonal throughout the hotel accommodation, no recognition of guests, who paid over £300 for a small room for one night. I didn’t see any guests in that hotel, who may have paid more, getting better service either. There was no personal touch at art’otel, I won’t be returning.

Not so sure - sadly not the vibe we expected
We stayed here before a few months ago and loved it but this time we were less sure. Staff were a bit grumpy, tired and it was not a good vibe. Room service good was not good unlike before. It felt like no one cared much. Breakfast was nice but we were near the service station and it felt like they were having a staff meeting on our table and we could barely hear ourselves. Room was clean and pool was nice - could have been heated by a few degrees more as it’s winter. We probably won’t stay here again sadly - for £350 a night we would expect a smile and less grumps!

Comfortable but a bit pricey…
The art’otel is a new style modern hotel across from the Battersea Power Station in London. We stayed in room 118 which had a comfortable king bed, in-room safe, small refrigerator, clothes steamer, fancy coffee maker, great air conditioning and plenty of room. The bathroom had a good shower but lacked counter top space. The hotel has a couple of different restaurants one of which has fabulous views and a rooftop seating area with a heated pool and hot tub. This is the perfect location for exploring the Battersea area shopping, dining and sights. Although the hotel is very nice and modern I feel that it is overpriced. Overall a nice stay in a comfortable hotel.

Nice short break in Battersea
Excellent room with City View (and Battersea Dogs Home). Unfortunately winds so great that rooftop bar and pool not practical. Battersea Power Station facilities and many restaurants within 5 minutes walk.
