The hotel is under going a major refurbishment but this did not affect us. The location of this hotel is great with brilliant transport links and close to shops and lovely places for food. As for all major cities there is crime so keep your phone out of sight at all times. Its just sensible in a large city.

Stayed here last yesr, rooms very compact but clean and reasonably well equipped two restaurants and a bar which also does food the all you can eat breakfast is good value for London £15 per person but the location is excellent walking distance to nearly everything and right beside tottenham court railway station

Ok for short, cheap stays

Fantastic location, however, there were a few downsides. Staff were unfriendly, lifts were slow and some not working. Room was very old and small with aircon hardly cooling. Rooms were serviced daily. For the location and cheaper price - I’d still return for a short stay in Soho.

Good option if it’s not hot weather!

Great location, and in general the hotel is good. Seemed quite busy, so often had queues for the lifts. With no AC, the room was almost unbearable with the heat in London, and only one tiny window to open at night. The beds were relatively comfortable, but with the heat it was hard to sleep.

The area that could be improved is the lifts. I first stayed at this hotel 10 years ago, and the lifts are no better - too slow and not enough. I would suggest that the lifts are the next area to be refurbished and upgraded.

My only complaint is I wanted to open my window a bit more in order to let in more fresh air and catch a view of the surrounding downtown buildings. I understand this might be a safety precaution but this imposed restricted window view made me feel a little claustrophobic in my tiny standard room.

I like the location of the hotel. I've stayed here 3 times now. They always give me a good room with a view, however, the pillows are so uncomfortable each time. I have a terrible night's sleep because of it.
