Great central hotel, super clean. Good value, for a moderately small room. Great bathroom.
Only one pillow per person, though. I’d recommend offering another pillow per person.
I was lucky to stay in the newer part of the hotel that had been refurbed and it was a nice stay. The staff were great too. It is well posted around the hotel that there is a refurb happening. Would stay here again
Lovely staff and an early Checkin were a good star. 11th floor room with splendid views along with a smart new bathroom and and useful storage and space. Everything was clean and seemed quite new.
I found the pillows to thin but two too many and the mattress too firm.
Also the door allowed too much noise from other hotel guests in the corridors to enter my room at night.
Easy Check-in - helpful, cheerful staff, room was clean, well maintained, everything worked, liked the fridge, comfy bed, love the baggage deposit service. Ideally located to transport links, shopping and entertainment.
Conveniently situated,close to tube and walking distance to many places.Friendly,helpful staff.We had a signature double room.Would be good to have 2 pillows each.Would recommend.

Heating problem
There is only a small heater in the bedroom which only heats the one room.There were also blankets provided which we had to use The seated area and the bathroom were freezing cold .Unable to shower due to the bathroom being so cold.We should have been informed that there was a problem with the heating.I asked at reception about the lack of heating and was told to switch the air conditioning to the heat setting . The unit is not working which is clearly why there is a portable heater in the room.I asked if we were the only room with a heating problem and did not get an answer only told again to turn on air conditioning and the fact that we were not offered another room makes me wonder ?
The hotel was okay - and represented good value for money.
We upgraded to a superior room and I wouldn't like to think of the size of the standard room. There was just enough room to walk around the bed in one section. The room was divided into two with a sitting area.
There was no air conditioning in the bedroom so I think it would be too hot in the summer.
There were no drawers to put things in - only open shelves.
The Tv's (there were 2 - one in each area) were really small and hard to watch.
The best thing about the hotel is its location - right in the middle of Soho, China town, Theatre land, Leicester square and 2 minutes from the tube.
The St Giles offered a small, clean, very reasonably priced room for my two-day stay in London. It is ideally located in the West End near to the Tottenham Court tube stop making it perfect for coming in and out from Heathrow Airport for the weekend. The room is small but perfectly functional. It was a great solution for the tourist who wants to focus their money on touring!
