Disgusting decor.
Bathroom appeared to be clean. The linens and carpeting were disgusting. Carpeting looked like industrial grade from the 60’s. To me it looked like it needed a good shampooing. The sheets were a dark print, horrible feel, couldn’t tell if they were clean. The blanket??? Worst was the burgundy bed spread. Most places don’t use bed spreads anymore and definitely not with dust ruffle.

This motel was nice but the room was not properly cleaned, especially the sofa bed and the AC is way too loud. The sleep mode does nothing at all.

Motel directly in front of Tesla Supercharger location. Only a few minutes from the Alabama Hills. Easy place to centralize your stay/adventure in the ‘Bama Hills.

Nice room with good furnishings and everything worked. Parking is tight and the curtains don’t block the bright light from the parking area. The king bed was nice, with nice linens and pillows. I would stay here again.

Small older building that does not look like much from the street. But our room was nicely redone inside. They have a nice looking pool. Check in was easy. I would stay again.

The room was clean, older property - renovated. Parking was tight and inconvenient and I had to park off-site for my entire stay (either insufficient spaces or multiple vehicles per room) (my vehicle was mid-size sport/utility vehicle). Had an issue with check-in as their CC system receipt showed my CC was APPROVED, but the counter help told me it was DECLINED. I pointed out that the receipt showed approved and the counter person said they would check with their boss. When I returned for the night, the “boss” said my CC was declined. We discussed the fact that the receipt showed approved and ultimately I had to call my account CC company. After lengthy conversation, it was determined that the “pending” got the transaction was in place and awaiting finalization from the hotel (which is normal protocol as I know it). The counter help argued that their CC system was “direct POS system and therefore should have showed amount on receipt. Obviously not! So, I am inclined to believe the counter people do not understand the standard CC procedures for motels - kind of an issue when running a motel.

Our favorite little motel Lone Pine! The rooms are clean and quiet. The beds & pillows are comfortable - not too soft or too firm. The pool is convenient on hot days, and the washer/dryer is easily accessible. This is a family owned/managed business and it’s obvious they take a lot of pride in it.
