Great location for us. In the country yet still 15 minutes to the airport. 20 minutes to Bardstown, 30 minutes to Fort Knox. Cleaning crew under staffed, had to get our own towels, coffee, etc. Big spacious room with minikitchen and almost full size frig. Very quiet and very comfy beds.
I would’ve given everything at all a five star, but we had issues with the room next-door to us that we’re partying till about 3 AM. we had to be up at 5 AM. It was very difficult to get some sleep. When I contacted the front desk to go next-door, they did immediately and then it stopped, and I was able to get a couple hours of sleep.
This was by far the best room we have ever stayed in.
Very clean room.
Breakfast was fabulous.
Kids swam in the outdoor pool and enjoyed themselves.
Front desk was extra helpful.

The property was very new, comfortable and was a very convenient location. The only issue we had was that the room was infested with tiny ants. We notified the front desk and maintenance came by and put down a small ant trap. I could not believe that the hotel did not have a can of RAID anywhere. We took it upon ourselves to buy a can at Walmart and we took care of most of the problem. We continued to see some ants through the stay but we blasted them with RAID and By the end they of our stay we saw no more ants.

We arrived to the hotel and were not waited on by the front desk staff for around ten minutes. I called the front desk twice to get them to answer and to come to the front desk. Once we were greeted and checked in we were informed that the hotel had been overbooked and our room was given to someone else. We were “upgraded” from a room with two beds and a pull out couch to a room with one queen bed and one pull out bed. So one less bed than we had wanted for our kids. We were informed that they had accommodated our needs by giving us a room for four as our reservation was for. But the fact that our one child is an adolescent was not taken into account which is why we wanted two beds and a pull out couch. I ended up requesting an extra set of bedding so that I could make a makeshift bed for my youngest on the floor out of the couch cushions. But later found ants all over the kitchen floor area. So I ended up telling my oldest that she was going to have to let her little sister sleep with her. Long story short, our hopes for a nice stay after days of driving were not met. The hotel has a sign in their lobby stating that if our stay was not great the night would be in them. The only thing they offered to do was give us 2500 Hilton points. This experience will most definitely cause me to hesitate before making reservations at a Hilton in the future.
