I booked this hotel through Expedia. The rate I was originally offered changed unexpectedly. I contacted the hotel after my stay, but of course, they couldn’t do anything and had to refer me to Expedia themselves. After chatting with them, I learned indeed the rate was changed, but that they also had charged an extra person fee the night we were there. Now why do that in a king suite? It was just the two of us. Makes no sense, nor have I ever seen a charge like that and I travel a lot nationally. Never again, Staybridge. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

My wife and son came with me to see The University of Miami play Louisville in football. Our stay was great. The hotel was very nice, and rooms were also. The free breakfast was very good. A really great selection of food. It was within walking distance to the stadium and there were a couple of restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very friendly. Free parking at the hotel as well as a great price for our room. Highly recommend.

We've stayed at Staybridge many times, this was our first time in Louisville. My biggest complaint is that the bathroom doors in the King bed suite do not close all the way. They are the barn door style and it leaves a decent crack where one can see right through, a perfect view of the toilet and the mirror which reflects the shower. I stayed with a friend so it made for a bit of an awkward situation. The breakfast buffet had great options, I really loved all the fruit options I could top my Belgian waffle with along with the mini chocolate chips. The eggs and sausage were not tasty at all in my opinion. The staff was very friendly and helpful except that upon check out they refused to print a receipt "because we booked through Expedia". I always book through Expedia and other Staybridge locations have always printed a receipt for me. The Staybridge doesn't provided a shuttle to Freedom Hall etc. like the Hotel right next door so keep that in mind if that's important to you.

Property conditions were not up to expectations for spiked festival prices. Room had issues with black mold in bathroom and wallpaper peeling off due to moisture. When alerted staff about issue, they said they would have maintenance look at it, rather than offer compensation or new room accommodation. Breakfast provided was sub-par. Laundry facility was dirty and machines were gunked up with detergent products. Will not return.

The ceiling needed repair work from a previous water leak. Had a bug crawling on one of the walls. House keeping did ok, for the most part. They didn't clean the floors our entire stay. And the washers half way work.
