Very Good

A good choice, centrally located and reasonably priced. Excellent and helpful staff, and thoroughly clean facilities. We enjoyed the free bicycles available to us as well as some free parking when we needed it. Our room was comfortable, although a little cramped; well air-conditioned, but it would have been good to have a chair as well as a bed. A good choice for Matsumoto.
We were warmly welcomed and checked in quickly. After a brief tour of all the facilities we were shown to our room which was just as we expected. We were happily suprised to find an onsen available for use, but unfortunately we didn't have time to use it. Overall a great experience.
I stayed one night. The room was clean and cozy. It is within walking distance to the JR station and Castle area. It is a little bit off the beaten track, but walkable to everything I wanted to do.
The man at the front desk knew little English and we knew even less Japanese, but somehow we managed to communicate enough. We watched the World Cup Japan v Columbia game on their big TV in the lobby. Also next morning when it was raining heavily he gave us a lift to the station.
