Staff were very friendly and helpful on check-in. The ironing board needs replacing. After traveling from interstate, I needed to iron 2 sets of shirts and slacks. The ironing board was falling apart and what foam was left on it crumbled off and the stand would not stay up (photos attached). I only stayed for 2 nights however was not able to get much sleep on either night. There was light coming in from construction lights left on next door however this was not the problem. During the entire stay rats/mice were scratching and scurrying in the walls and bedhead above and next to the righthand side of the bed in the corner near the bedroom wardrobe.

This place would be great except the blinds in the lounge room are completely see through so you have zero privacy. When you have the entire side of the room as a huge window and you are across from two major hotels/buildings you can't relax when everyone is able to watch you. I wouldn't stay again only because of this. If they do get proper blackout blinds then I definitely would, other than that it's spacious and clean, nice rooms.

I like that the room was larger than expected, but unfortunately i wasn't made aware of next-door construction until after booking. The notice said NO WORK ALLOWED on Sunday BUT they worked all day & started earlier than stated on Monday morning. Understand its out of your control but the lack of correct communication was frustrating. I really like the safety aspect of the locked doors after hours, and in general the Hotel is amazing.

Ok, the good: - location. Very axcess to all we needed. - parking close and handy. - staff were unobtrusive. Then, the not so good. - pillows that felt like concrete. - drain system adjacent to our room was noisy. Probably only an issue for one position on each floor. - noise - again, probably not an issue for all rooms and may improve when the new building is finished. Noise was street noise (car from main arterial roads). We warned about the building and that was fine.

Great Apartment! Very clean & equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Bed was super comfy & had a great night sleep. Super great spot on Flinders Lane, next to lots of restaurants and cafes. Plenty of transport links, and 10 minutes from Flinders station/parliament. I would caution there is a construction site that commences at 7am until about 3pm. This was fine for us as I was getting up for work at 7am, but it was pretty hard to sleep through. There are however, ear plugs provided on site. The blinds are also see-through & there was occasion where the construction crew would be at window level. Overall a decent and comfortable stay. Thank you!
