Coming in from cold dreary London we particularly chose this hotel for our stay as it advertised Pool Bar/Food until 11pm and coming to FL we wanted to be outside enjoying! Got checked in and went out about 7pm to be told they'd been approved to close outside bar, and could give us a drink while they cleaned up! Ugh! Inside bar was full (and a/c cold) no where to sit, except in Restaurant with very expensive meals we didn't want really! Off to bed early! :(

Our bathroom door was broken, we called the front desk to notify the concierge team. A maintenance person was sent to the room he immediately knew about the broken door without checking. Im sure as the cleaning crew were getting the room ready for us the broken door was noticed but not addressed. We were accomodated and given another room, forcing us to pack up and move all of our luggage to the other room.

Great Service, but cashless???
Our room was obviously the “parts car” for the rest of the floor. Missing and loose pieces. See photos for details. And cashless??? That’s nuts. Front desk won’t even change a 20. Directed me to gift shop. When the two gals in there finally acknowledged me, I was informed that “We don’t make change without a purchase.” Also, WHY is it ok to add gratuity on a purchase of bottled water? Five bucks for a 20 oz bottle of water is off the hook! A bit of disclosure would help. Bar staff were very nice, as was front desk clerk. A decent property with great location let down by bad policies. Photos won’t upload
