Okay, not great. Property could use a facelift.
An older hotel with kind of a tired look. Fitness Center has a couple of cardio machines but no free weights. Other hotels in the area were expensive and had no fitness centers so this was a feasible option. Not within walking distance of the pier.

Rooms need some updates !
Bathroom faucet is so tiny and close to the edge, you can hardly wash your hands. Closet doors off the rail, not working. Entrence and bathroom lights automatically shuts off after 60 seconds, very annoying.

Nice room, nice area. Very low budget breakfast.. more like a snack. But that silly gouge, $100, for incidentals. Then i did precheck, and still had to check in normally.

Room decent size, beds very good, lots of tv stations. Desk clerk was nice. Under an airport flyway, not causing a lot of noise late night but got woken up about 10 am by a flight that shook the windows. Turned out there was an air show that day! The vicinity was not the classiest area of town but not bad and had easy access to the highway. I had a good two day stay, overall.

A bit of a distance to Monterey but second we’ve stayed here and it’s very comfortable motel. Beds comfy and clean. We had a suite (due to having family of 4) and got 3 beds. Only complaint was the shower was so tiny but apart from that, I’d have no hesitation staying again.
