Room for improvement
The hotel is visibly old and could do with a refurbishment. The room was spacious but primitive. The restaurant is recently overtaken by two younger chefs and is excellent. The hotel and restaurant are seperate businesses. The hotel staff was kind but forgetful. My partner is intolerant to Gluten but despite having called in advance and been reassured that glutenfree bread was available, it was still forgotten twice at breakfast and long waiting as consequence. Payment through Hotels.com was rejected and had to be done onsite. Hotels.com rate was unknown and had to be argued.

Hyggeligt hotel i Nakskov, fine værelser og god morgenmad. Vi spiste på restaurant Surt & Sødt som høre til hotellet. God mad og fin betjening. Lidt dæmpet musik i baggrunden og levende lys ville klær restauranten. Der var hyggeligt julepyntet. Værelset var meget koldt ved ankomst, eneste lille minus

Vi fik nogle af de nyrenoverede værelser men til teods for dette hang malingen i plamager med fra loftet nogle steder. Vil ikke anbefale restauranten. Den sure gamle dame der virker til at være en af ejerne var direkte ubehøvlet. Ikke kun overfor os men også en af de andre gæster som hun slet ikke ville servicere. Dårlig oplevelse i restaurranten.
