First was booked on 31st floor - Room was huge and comfortable but very dated and A/C didn't work -After one night asked them to change me - they did without hesitation - new room on the 8th was smaller but wonderful and "new" - staff is great they really try. Breakfast was good - coffee was great

No air condition and fitness did not open on time
During my stay from Mar 25, 2018 to Apr 3, 2018, there were several days very hot. However, there was no air conditioning. When checking with the hotel, I was told the air condition would not use during this season. What a surprise, the air condition is to use according to the season instead of the temperature!?
Another bad thing I have to say is the fitness did not open as schedule on 6 am. Instead, it opened on 7 am.
Dated hotel, but recent and ongoing renovations are making a difference. Only 1 elevator was working as others were being serviced . Good location, close to museum, parks and metro. Did not eat at hotel, so cannot comment on restaurants.
The location was central to most things required whilst working in Nanjing. The view of Nanjing front hotel room stunning! Arriving after midnight the restaurants were closed however the 24/7 community store was across the road and the local street vendors had hot food ready.
Service was very good despite my disadavatage of speaking no mandarin. The metro train system was 5 minutes walk away and as efficient, affordable as the best in the world including Singapore. Over 2 weeks stay hotel staff learn your daily routine and adapt their service to suit you with no interference.
The restaurants in the hotel Korean, Japanese and Chinese style were very good however I was spoiled in China with the quality and affordability of local cuisine outside of hotel. Being my 3 rd stay in 2 years I encountered this before The hotels ATM was a problem out of service most of the time. Locating an ATM that accepts overseas cards in Nanjing was also a problem however hotel staff directed me to the Bank of Communications 10 minutes so I was cashed up and ready to shop, eat and explore Nanjing.

Good location, but dated and terrible wifi
The location is great, near subway stations and tourist sites. But the hotel is very dated, with old and heavily used gym equipment and worn and dingy carpet in the room. The room itself was large and the bathroom had a separate tub and shower, which is appreciated, but not in good repair--with mold and the shower didn't drain properly. It had a king bed, but Chinese style, i.e. so firm it was like sleeping on a board. For a five star hotel with the word "international" in its Chinese name, the staff also struggle with fundamental English, even for reception, concierge, or room service, and they seemed pretty apathetic. I would recommend the Nanjing Renaissance instead.
Very good, good breakfast, will stay again if coming to Nanjing

first room they suggest me to use has little serious smoke smell and after I insisted to change it they changed to king bedroom which is really big I satisfied but after two days I noticed there is many test falling from the ceiling exact location I'm sleeping but I just calm down
On arrival rooms were not ready we were told they would be ready in 15 mins. I had booked 2 rooms and was given 1 on the 11th floor and 1 on the 14th floor I asked if We could have them at least on the same floor and was told No. I explained we need to be a little closer and after 20 mins was given 2 rooms on the same floor but 10 rooms apart. The best is yet to come we were then asked to pay a deposit of 4000 yuan on a credit card and this money would be returned to the card in a months time, this is equal to about A$ 900 I then explained that I had 5 other hotels booked on this trip and if I had to pay that sort of deposit at each hotel I would have 24000 yuan on my credit card or A$5400 and I felt that was a bit excessive. They settled for 1500 yuan in cash which is about A$350 and that would be returned when we left. We then went to the Coffey shop to wait for the 15 mins and for them to tell us the rooms were ready as they said they would. After 50 min. I went to check if they had been finished and was told 1 was ready.
We found that the air conditioner did not work in 1 room they sent some one to check it and was told they could not get it to work and just opened the window and they said that would fix it .
The only thing it did was make the noise in the room from outside almost unbearable and my friends were unable to get any sleep during the nigh. They are not people who complain about things and did not tell me about this problem until breakfast next morning.
Excellent hotel, friendly staff, nice room and a good location. The only annoyance was that the internet didn't work properly in our first room, but the staff immediately offered us a new one.
The hotel staff are great and always very accommodating and helpful. The location is very convenient. It is right next to the museum Zhong Shan Gate. I took a morning walk and was able to get to the Ming emperor tomb in half an hour, and hiked all the way up to the summit of Mt Purple Gold in about one and half hour--in high heels.
The facilities of the hotel is a little old. The toilet imported from Japan worked terribly. By the end of my stay, it overflowed and flooded the entire bathroom.
Good location, close to key areas of interest.
Better if hotel cards are used to access the lift

Cost performance
I suppose this hotel is best in Nanjing. The view from the room is good in a multistory hotel, and the interior of the room also has a high price and has a round pool. Neverthless, cost performance is very reasonable. A location is regrettable, and since a few is separated from the city area, there is a little store in the circumference.
