DIRTY!! Nowhere did I look and not see some sort of dirt, trash or debris. As soon as we arrived, I saw an abundance of trash under the portico while I parked to go check-in. Staff friendliness was mediocre. Our room door (#104) didn't close properly, as we had to use our shoulder to open and close the door. I noticed that other doors had their RFID reader broken off. One of the pillows on the bed looked as if it had lost a fight with a dull knife. Shower was dirty, possibly clean, just stained. Shower also had mold/mildew on the pan floor. Bathroom door had holes in it where it had been opened with such force, the towel hangers punctured it. Overall, the property was just dirty! Such a shame considering it's proximity to the Cane River, shops and restaurants. We did not report this. We checked-in, went to sleep, woke up and left.

Festival of Lights stay
If you are looking for convenience to downtown Natchitoches this is the Hotel for you. Easily walk to the Festival of Lights or visit local shops and restaurants. I did not find the beds comfortable and the rooms were very nice but could have been cleaner. I felt like housekeeping rushed to have our room ready and possibly took some shortcuts. We were also next to the elevator ( a big no no) when looking for a peaceful stay. Overall I would stay again but be mindful of past experience.

It was okay. Check-in was somewhat late. There was no dining on-site or room service. Bar had little stock. House-keeping did not turn-down the room between the two days. Overall a very average experience.

Great location, nothing was terrible but literally everything was slacking. Not a single trashcan in the hotel besides the one in your room, always running out of food at breakfast, workout room was all broken, safe didn’t work, furniture was ripped, elevators malfunctioning. If you need to stay downtown and don’t care if things are a bit scummy, this hotel will work for you. Has potential but is poorly managed.

This hotel is conveniently located and the staff were pleasant and accommodating! Our room was clean and my only wish would be for a heavier blanket because i like to snuggle under covers in a cool/cold room. However, the common areas needed attention desperately! Also, the included breakfast was tasty but we were surprised by some omissions that wouldnt have been expensive or difficult...bananas, brown sugar and raisins for the oatmeal are a simple example. In conclusion, i wouldnt steer other travelers away, i would just put these points out there under the heading of FYI

The fixtures were dusty, the body soap dispenser was empty. Only one miniature bar of soap in the BR. The towels felt like burlap when drying off. Worst of all a mouse ran into the bathroom while my husband was sitting on the commode. The mouse v v took one look at him then turned around and ran out. On a positive note the staff at the front desk were friendly and professional.
