Sandy Haven Resort offers 35 accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature iPod docking stations and minibars. Rooms open to furnished balconies or patios. Slider on balcony didn’t lock, no tv, no internet service, gym equipment was broken (cardio machines), no hand soap for the entire time! Chef was 45 minutes late on most mornings for breakfast. Complimentary breakfast was good; however, took over an hour to get it. Bar tenders Andre and Kenyon were the only positives of the entire stay! Andre was rushed to close down every night even though the bar was full each night!

Very disappointed! Will never stay here again. Slider didn’t lock, no internet service, no tv, all gym equipment was broken, no hand soap, chef was 45 minutes late for breakfast. I reported all of these problems to the GM every day and he said it would be fixed. None of them ever were; and we were there for 6 days.

We stayed for 1 week- arrived on Saturday. The wifi was out by Tuesday night. The televisions were smart TV’s and no cable so the remainder of the trip no wifi no internet in the rooms. During the day had to sit next to the adjacent hotel to pick up wifi. The management was immediately aware and acted indifferent as if they didn't care, suggested it was out on the entire island due to the service provider (Flow) which we discovered one of the workers suggested they didn't pay their bill. Each time we raised the issued they acted as though management was not aware - really?

We chose Sandy Haven Resort as our homebase for my birthday celebration. The property is lovely and so was the staff. They even decorated my room while I was out for the day and gifted me a bottle of champagne. The beach is divine - one of the best beaches on the island. Highly recommend.

Perfect Location
A group of us went to Negril to celebrate my birthday. There were 7 who stayed at Sandy Haven. The property is lovely. Most of the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, advising on where to go (and not to go) and going out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. On my birthday, the owner gifted us a bottle of champagne and arranged for birthday balloons and decorations in my room. The hotel is located directly on one of the best beaches on the island, so a short walk from our room and we were right there. Perfect. The hotel provides beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels. There is a bar on the beach where you can order light bites. We really enjoyed our stay and should we find ourselves in Negril again, we will be going back!

It is quiet, safe and nicely situated to the beach. The food and restaurant is subpar. From the time the you place your order for food to the time you receive it, it is about an hour. The flavor and presentation of the food is very subpar. For all things considered, Sandy Haven is a great location, reasonably priced and safe. Rooms are clean, hot water for the showers and free towels for the beach. Staff is also very friendly and accommodating.

I love the staff - Pops, Dwight, and everyone. Proximity to the beach is awesome. You're only few feet away from the water. Love the fact eateries, restaurants, and bars are all walkable on the 7-mile beach. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff were courteous, friendly, respectful, and helpful. I felt safe on the beach and on the property. Update outdoor furnitures: umbrellas and 4 gazebo like lounge area. The pool and hot tub should be cleaned and opened year round for all guests. They were closed during my stay. Suggestion: Add a microwave to the room. My interaction with your staff and the beach were the highlights of my stay.
